Kid Planet

In the Children’s Ministry Department at New Hope International, we are committed to leading children to Christ and equipping them with a solid Biblical foundation that will enable them to begin a passionate walk (or run) for Christ; to fulfill their destiny and purpose while walking in the favor of God.

 

It is our goal to partner with parents in our shared role of helping children know God, love God and grow as a valued part of the Kingdom of God. We are pleased to offer a full variety of Children’s Ministry programs for children 4 months through 5^th grade.  All of our programs include active learning methods and are set in a safe and secure environment with properly trained and screened staff.  Our teaching staff each bring their own personality and experience as they lead the class.  Parents are asked to volunteer one time per month, rotating in the classroom, as an extra pair of hands to give help to the lead teacher.

 

Nursery

Nursery classes are available during services on Sunday and Tuesday, for children ages 4 months through 12 months, 12 months (walking) through 24 months, and 2 classes for 24 months through 36 months. Our youngest friends participate in curriculum guided activities that are designed especially for their age group.  We strive to provide not only a comfortable, engaging learning environment, but a loving, nurturing environment as well.

 

Preschool / Kindergarten

Preschool / Kindergarten classes are available during services on Sunday and Tuesday, for children 3 & 4 years of age, Pre Kindergarten, and Kindergarten. Our Preschool friends participate in curriculum guided activities that are designed especially for their age group. As a part of the Preschool schedule, we do allow time for social interaction as well as structured learning.  (And of course, potty breaks!) Our time includes Praise and Worship, games, craft activities, Bible Lesson, Memory Verses - all centered around the Lesson of the day.

Kid Planet Sunday

Kid Planet Sunday's are an opportunity for children 1st grade through 5th grade to come together in a group setting to worship, dance, and learn through any creative way possible.  We strive to teach the Word of God with relevance to a generation that is constantly changing, and bombarded by the world and all the influence therein.  We incorporate media and music into our services, but maintain a level of Biblical teaching that is unchanging. Life Lessons, Bible Memorization, Drama and Games are all a part of this power packed service.

 

Kid Planet PowerSurge

Kid Planet PowerSurge is an opportunity for children 1st grade through 5th grade to enjoy a grade level, classroom setting. Each class participates in curriculum guided activities that are designed especially for their age group.  Elective classes are also available to children 3rd – 5th grade, which include dance, drama and Bible. Children are given the opportunity to learn as well as socialize with children of the same age.  While in the classroom environment, children experience activity time, learning time, game time, ministry time, snack time, as well as have fun.

 

Security

The security and well being of your child is a high priority for us.  A check in system is established for pick up and drop off of all children 4 months through 5th grade. An adult, 18 years of age or older is required to pick up any child.  Parent/ Grownup must present the check in label at the time of pickup to access Children’s Ministry areas.  When proceeding to classrooms, the check in label will be checked again and verified by the teacher dismissing the child from the classroom. Please follow the flow of traffic to exit the area.
